Retrospective gout cohort
With the creation of this cohort of gout patients we want to gain more knowledge about gout. The cohort gives us the opportunity to answer multiple research questions due to the amount of collected data.
We are building the cohort with information from medical records of people with gout which are treated in one of the following hospitals: Sint Maartenskliniek, Rijnstate and Radboudumc. With data of 2500 patients we hope to answer multiple research questions, including knowledge about the gout patient and study differences in response to medication between several groups within gout patients. Besides, we want to study the quality of care.
