After my study neuro- and rehabilitation psychology, I worked in different settings before I started at the Sint Maartenskliniek in 2003. First as a healthcare psychologist, later after finishing my PhD thesis also as researcher. Within the theme Spinal cord injury I focus on the psychosocial aspects and the connection between physical and mental aspects of the injury.
